Marianna Zabawa born 1998 Tarnow, Poland. Performer, dancer, interdisciplinary artist, and diver. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In her work, she combines various media, with a particular emphasis on the exploration of underwater spaces, which she treats as a laboratory for the body, movement,and emotions. Her practice focuses on exploring the relationship between human physicality and the aquatic environment, showing how immersion shapes emotions and spatial sensitivity. In her artistic work, she uses gesture drawing as a medium for recording,registering, and remembering movement, and also draws on new media and choreographic techniques that allow her to build multi-layered performances. Her activities are characterized by deep integration with the water element, experimentation with physicality,and the search for traces of movement in various forms of recording.
